Tuition

  1. A $40 registration fee is assessed for every student who registers.
  2. The standard monthly tuition is $100 for all students unless they are paying for longer lessons.
  3. Tuition pays for teacher salaries, student materials, and all other IAFA operating costs. 
  4. Monthly tuition is paid in equal payments regardless of the number of lessons scheduled in a given month. Students receive a minimum of thirty lessons over the course of the nine-month period.
  5. No tuition is required until a signed contract has been accepted by IAFA.
  6. The first tuition payment is due before lessons begin. Lessons will be delayed for students who have not yet made their first payment.
  7. Two payment options are available: 1) Payment up front for the entire contract term; or 2) Monthly subcription payments as determined by the length of the contract.​

Past due accounts

  1. If a credit card payment has been declined, you will be notified by our Treasurer. Lessons will continue for a grace period of ten days, after which lessons may be suspended. 
  2. Lessons missed due to past due accounts will not be rescheduled.
  3. All fees continue to be due and payable until the end of the contract period.

Contracts and payments

  1. Contracts for lessons are available for three, six, and nine month periods. Summer lessons are available for IAFA students by private arrangement with their instructor.
  2. Payment instructions are mailed around August 20 and the first payment is due by September 5.
  3. Lessons begin in late August (or the month you choose to begin lessons) and run until the contract expires.
  4. Assuming regular attendance on the part of the student, a minimum of ten lessons will be offered during each three-month contract, twenty lessons for each six-month contract, and thirty lessons for each nine-month contract period.
